What a trip!
I feel quite lucky to have been able to go on this trip with my person, Amanda, who is great to travel with. She considered so many things and carried much of the logistics burden to make this trip happen, including rescheduling once I decided to open a new store in the January before our March trip. Many thanks to Amanda!
Here are some pictures that didn’t make the posts from the Tokyo portion of the trip.

English books in Japan.

American Chinese food in Japan…

Public rooftop art.

Wayfinding.

These were not good.

An ad for excel?

Food trucks at the Meiji Jingu. We only had a lemonade.

Did not make it to Dandy House. Sad.

People just leave their bikes unlocked. It was all over town.

This picture has a lot going on. It’s part of a sky walk avoiding all the traffic. There is a ramp for bicycles on the stairs. The yellow is ridged for visually impaired people. The ridges and dots were all over the city, even inside the fancy hotels. I was impressed by the kind accommodating architecture. I was going to do a whole post about transportation, but I need to do my regular job now.

Car parking taken to the next level! (See what I did there?)

Cool Kafka building.

Neighbor to the best pastry ever. Check the detail of the imagery. Cool. They sell fish.

Japan ads are funny and fun.

Someone has to refill the vending machine…

The lady that made it all happen.
